ServicesSuper-Midsize Jet Charter
Franklin Super-Midsize Jet Charter
For longer flights with a larger group, a super-midsize jet offers headroom to stand, generous luggage space and the range to reach either coast without stopping. A single member of our team plans your trip from your first call until you land.

When a Super-Midsize Jet Is the Right Call
Super-midsize aircraft such as the Challenger 350, Citation Longitude, Gulfstream G280 and Praetor 600 sit between midsize and heavy jets. Most seat eight to ten passengers, cruise near the speed of an airliner and fly roughly 3,000 nautical miles without a fuel stop. From central Indiana, that covers Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami or the Caribbean in one leg.
The cabin is the other reason people choose this class. Most models have a flat floor, headroom to stand and walk, an enclosed lavatory and baggage you can reach in flight. On a four or five hour trip, that matters for a team that wants to work or a family traveling with kids and a dog.
If your trip is shorter or your group is small, a Midsize Jet Charter or Light Jet Charter may do the job for less. We will tell you plainly which fits, even if it is the smaller aircraft.
What Comes With Your Super-Midsize Charter
The same planner throughout
Whoever answers your first call prepares the quote, secures the aircraft and remains your contact through the outbound and return flights. Your plans never need retelling.
One quote that covers it all
Flight time, taxes, airport and FBO charges and crew expenses appear together in your quote. There are no hidden costs waiting after landing.
Priced by the leg
You are billed only for the legs you take. On a one-way trip, you never cover round trip pricing for a jet heading back empty.
Room for pets, options for WIFI
Pets can fly on our charters, and WIFI equipped aircraft are available if you want email or video calls during the flight. Mention both on the call so we choose a suitable jet.
Checking the operator
Before confirming, we review the operator, the aircraft and the crew, and we send you the tail details before departure.
Signs a Super-Midsize Jet Fits Your Trip
You are crossing the country
A light or midsize jet often needs a fuel stop on a coast-to-coast leg. A super-midsize usually goes nonstop, which can save an hour or more.
Your group is seven or more
Once you pass six passengers, smaller cabins get tight fast. This class gives everyone a real seat and room to move.
You are bringing golf bags or skis
Larger baggage compartments handle sports gear and extra luggage that would not fit on a smaller jet.
You need to work on the way
A stand-up cabin with a table, quiet noise levels and WIFI turns flight time into a working meeting.
The schedule cannot slip
For a time-sensitive trip, fewer stops means fewer chances for weather or ground delays to push you late.
Your Trip, Step by Step
- 1
Start with a call
Share your destination, dates, headcount and luggage. We also ask about pets, catering and WIFI so every detail is settled up front.
- 2
Hear your quote
Your planner finds open super-midsize jets and goes over each with its own all-inclusive quote. When another aircraft class suits you better, we tell you.
- 3
Book and get set
After you pick, we secure the jet, tell you which FBO you leave from and send what your passengers need to know. Any schedule change goes through the same planner.
- 4
Take off
Get to the FBO shortly before departure, bypass terminal lines and step aboard. Your planner can be reached day or night until you land, and again on the way home.
What Changes the Cost
A super-midsize charter is priced on the aircraft and its hours in the air, not per seat. You get the complete figure before booking, which makes comparing options simple. These factors shift it the most.
- Hours flown and route
- Mileage, winds at altitude and any fuel stop all change the billed hours. Flying nonstop often brings this down more than people expect.
- The aircraft's home base
- When the closest open jet must fly to central Indiana first, that positioning time may raise the price. Point to point pricing keeps one-way flights fairly priced.
- Overnight stays and waiting
- Trips lasting several days can add crew hotel costs and daily fees. Coming back the same day usually skips them.
- Time of year and travel dates
- Holidays and major event weekends leave fewer jets open. Cold-weather departures may also need deicing, which goes into the quote when needed.
- Optional extras
- Catering, ground transportation and other requests are shown as separate lines so every charge is clear.
Questions About Super-Midsize Jets
Something not covered here? (317) 793-3689
What is the seating capacity of a super-midsize jet?
Eight or nine passengers fit comfortably on most, and certain models take ten. The number depends on the aircraft and how its cabin is arranged. We verify seating on your exact tail before you book.
Is a nonstop flight to the West Coast possible?
Usually. A super-midsize jet generally has the range to go from Indiana to California or the Pacific Northwest in one leg. Heavy winter headwinds or a full load can sometimes force a stop, and we let you know ahead of time if that is likely.
Should I move up from a midsize jet?
That comes down to distance and headcount. Flights longer than about three hours, groups of seven or more and heavy luggage usually justify the added space and range. On shorter trips with fewer people, we will point you to the midsize.
Is my dog allowed on board?
Yes, pets are allowed. Tell us how many animals are coming and how big they are so we pick an aircraft and operator that accept them.
Do I have to prepay hours or sign up for anything?
No. You prepay no hours and make no long-term commitments. Call, hear your quote and book just the trip you want.
Can I get a jet on short notice?
We answer calls around the clock and can often locate an open super-midsize quickly, depending on where the aircraft are. Give us your dates and we will be straight with you about what can be done.
